Anne Dellinger was a member of the faculty at the School of Government from 1974 to 2005. She is the author of numerous publications and is a former president of the North Carolina Society of Health Care Attorneys. In 1980-81 she was special assistant to William H. Webster, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and from 1993 to 1995 was counsel in the health law practice of Hogan & Hartson, in Washington, D.C. Dellinger earned a law degree from Duke University. |

Arlene Davis has been a member of the School of Medicine faculty since 1999. Her teaching and research are focused on clinical and research ethics and draw upon her prior experience both in private practice in North Carolina and 10 years in pediatric and public health nursing. She has been co-investigator on a series of NIH grants addressing the ethical, legal, and social implications of the human genome project and has served as a member of the IRB and a consultant for more than 10 years. As a member of the UNC Hospitals Ethics Committee, Davis directs its ethics education service and provides clinical ethical consultation at UNC Hospitals. She is also a Fellow at the UNC Parr Center for Ethics. Davis earned a law degree from the University of Washington. |
