Reppraisal Boot Camp is an exciting hands-on class where participants will work through the different steps in completing a mass appraisal. The hands-on exercises include data cleaning techniques, developing market analysis tools, determining model specifications, model calibration techniques, developing different valuation models, testing and reviewing the valuation models, and reporting the mass appraisal results.  Participants are required to bring a laptop with Excel installed.

This course will be taught by Kirk Boone, Associate Teaching Professor of Public Finance and Government at the School of Government and David Cornell, MAI, CAE, with Cornell Consultants, LLC.

David Cornell, CAE, MAI, consults with assessing offices throughout the country.  He develops valuation models, system processes, and helps with enhancing efficiencies. Cornell is a Senior National Instructor for the IAAO (International Association of Assessing Officers). Most recently, David was the Assistant Director for the New Hampshire Department of Revenue Municipal and Property Division and previously served as the Assessor for the City of Manchester, NH. Cornell serves on the board of directors of the New Hampshire Chapter of the Appraisal Institute. David received his BS degree in business administration from Liberty University and received an MBA from Plymouth State University.
