Knapp Library
The Joseph Palmer Knapp Library houses a large collection of material on state and local government, public administration, and management to support the School's instructional and research programs and the educational mission of the Master of Public Administration program. Reference and research services are available to all residents of North Carolina, and additional assistance is available to state and local government personnel, both elected and appointed.
- Covid-19 Response

A limited number of scholarships are available for private assigned and managed assigned counsel who represent criminal defendants. These scholarships are intended to help those attorneys who would otherwise have difficulty affording the Defender Trial School.

If you are interested in applying, please answer the following brief questions. Scholarships are awarded no later than two weeks after application submission. Please apply as soon as possible.

If you receive a scholarship, the registration fee of $850 is waived; however, recipients remain responsible for travel, food, and lodging expenses.

The scholarship application deadline is Wednesday, June 11.
