Adjunct Instructor

Angel Wright-Lanier serves as an adjunct instructor in the UNC MPA program, teaching City and County Management. She has an extensive executive leadership and public affairs background. Wright-Lanier has held leadership roles in city and county governments for over twenty years. She is the executive director of the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration and received her undergraduate degree from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Wright-Lanier has a master's degree in Public Administration from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a second master's degree in Management Information Systems. She received her Ed.D. from Vanderbilt's Peabody College with a concentration in Leadership and Learning.
