Regional Board Workshop

Quasi-Judicial Board Workshop | The School of Government is hitting the road. In April and May, we will be in regional locations across the state to lead half-day workshops on quasi-judicial zoning decisions. These workshops will focus on the procedures and considerations for variances, special use permits, and appeals of staff decisions. The target audience is boards of adjustment and other boards making quasi-judicial decisions, as well as the staff who serve them.

April 30 Preservation Focus | The online session April 30 will focus on historic preservation and certificates of appropriateness. This special session is intended for historic preservation commissions and preservation staff. We will cover the authority for local historic districts, the role of the historic preservation commission, and the process for deciding certificates of appropriateness (a quasi-judicial decision).

AICP Credit Available.
