In the Matter of D.M., 192 N.C. App. 729 (2008)
Held:
Affirmed
The trial court’s findings were sufficient to support revocation of the juvenile’s post-release supervision where the court found that the juvenile had violated the terms of post-release supervision by failing to comply with the rules and regulations of the group home where he had been placed and that the failure was without just cause, then ordered that he be recommitted to the YDC. The Court of Appeals pointed to In re Baxley, 74 N.C. App. 527 (1985), which interpreted a very similar predecessor statute, and held that the trial court was required only to find that the juvenile violated the terms of post-release supervision. The findings and conclusions of the original commitment order supported the recommitment.
