Top 10 Primer: Local Government Liability

"With great power, comes great (legal) responsibility." In this interactive seminar, elected officials will explore the foundational concepts of local government liability relevant to their leadership roles in local government. The course provides an overview of sources of legal claims against the government, with a special focus on those immunities available to elected officials, including public official, legislative, and quasi-judicial immunity. Participants will feel empowered to make informed decisions and lead with confidence in their communities, while mitigating legal vulnerabilities.
