Interstate Compact for Juveniles

The UNC School of Government and the North Carolina Judicial College invite you to join an online class on Wednesday, April 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The class is entitled Interstate Compact for Juveniles. Instruction will be provided on the law and procedure that governs interstate issues related to juveniles who are involved in the juvenile justice system, including out-of-state runaway youth, youth found in North Carolina and who are accused of acts of delinquency in other states, and youth who move to another state while on probation. This course counts as one of the two electives needed to obtain advanced certification in juvenile justice.
