This one-day course is intended for both clerks, assistant, and deputy clerks of superior court and will cover issues related to domestic violence. Topics will include the law and procedures of domestic violence proceedings, dynamics of domestic violence, innovation, and the clerk’s role. This course is for clerks who have regular exposure to parties in domestic violence proceedings.

This introductory training is designed for clerks with little or no formal training or specialized experience in fields related to domestic violence. The objectives of this training are to improve performance of responsibilities in cases involving domestic violence, including practical skills, legal knowledge, and greater understanding of the significance of work in this area.
