
Frances Henderson joined the School of Government as adjunct faculty in 2017. She has 30 years of experience in nonprofit management, having served as a fellow at the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation and as executive director of two area nonprofits. Since 1991, she has led the Dispute Settlement Center Inc., a community mediation center. She is certified by the NC Dispute Resolution Commission as a mediator for Mediated Settlement Conferences and Clerk of Court–referred matters. Henderson, a lawyer, is a member of the NC Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section Council and has been elected to the NC Academy of Superior Court Mediators. She is a graduate of Guilford College and earned her JD from UNC School of Law.
