Magistrates' One-Day Seminar
Four seminars, consisting of a selection of topics from the Magistrates' Fall Conference, are held at locations throughout North Carolina each fall for magistrates unable to attend the annual Magistrates' Conference. Topics vary from year to year but always include sections on recent developments in criminal and small claims law, with an emphasis on new legislation. Participants will learn about new DWI legislation, the neurobiology of addiction and recovery, the interstate compact for adult offender supervision, and gang awareness.
